We want to make sure that all sessions are fun and are as safe as possible. Always prepare and play the right way so that we can avoid injury and spend our time playing the beautiful game.

3. Football shoes: 👟Important to wear football shoes as they will give extra grip when playing. Make sure that they fit and also are tied up properly for each game.

2. Football socks: 🧦They are designed to hold you shin pads securely and help prevent injuries.

  1. Shin pads:  💥Wear shin pads during training and in games. Place them under your football socks so that your shin is securely protected from any impact.

Football is the most popular sport in the world as it's fun and promotes team work. It involves kicking, tackling, running, sprinting, heading, jumping and catching. But as with any contact sport there is always a risk of injury. Although we can't stop injuries from happening, we can mitigate the risk by playing safely and follow the below safety tips.

6. If injured: 🤕If injury does occur during the game or training session please tell coach straight away. Do not take the pitch if you are in pain and do not reenter until the pain has gone away.

5. Stay hydrated: 💧 Drink fluids regularly when playing football to keep hydrated.  Make sure to drink before, during and after any session.

4. Warm up: 🏃‍♂️ Before playing a game remember to warm up properly by stretching. This will warm up your muscles before you start using them and will reduce the risk of any muscular injuries.

8. Obey the rules of football:💪 Make sure you know the rules of football and abide by them. The rules of football were created to make the game fun and to limit risk if injuries.

7. Learn techniques:⚽Listen to the coach in how he teaches you use the proper techniques to play football.
